12 V and 24 V applications in a single device
The integrated temperature sensor on the charging terminals ensures that the battery is charged in a controlled, gradual manner.
Protected in line with IP44
Powerful 30 A power supply mode
keeps the battery fully charged even during servicing and diagnostics.
With its compact design, the charger is also ideal for use in showrooms
Standard charging
For conventional batteries (wet-cell batteries, open design), maintenance-free batteries, gel and closed batteries
Cold charging function
Used when the battery temperature is lower than 5 °C and for AGM GEL batteries
Boost function
Intensive mode for severely discharged batteries
Power supply modes
Used as a power supply in showrooms or during servicing work
Integrated battery tester
Four-stage LED display
Multifunctional holding device
Various operating positions are possible thanks to the integrated holding device (standing mount, hand-held mount, suspended mount and wall mount in one)
Please note that the spark protection feature will not function in supply mode.
RoHS, REACH, EMV, CE
Recommended for batteries with a capacity between 90 and 600 Ah.
Test (display: "Battery full" LED flashes)
This mode checks for damage to the vehicle battery.
Gradual charging (display: "Flat" LED flashes)
Select this mode for severely discharged vehicle batteries. In this mode, the vehicle battery is prepared for "normal charging".
Desulphurisation (display: "Battery almost flat" LED flashes)
Select this mode following a longer break in operation of the vehicle battery to desulphurise it by means of pulse charges.
Normal charge/intensive charge (display: "Battery almost flat" LED flashes)
This mode charges the vehicle battery via direct current until the battery is charged to 85 % of its capacity.
Absorption (display: "Battery full" LED flashes)
This mode charges the vehicle battery with constant voltage (normal charge: 14.0 V/cold charging: 14.4 V) until the battery is charged to 98 % of its capacity.
Charged (display: "Battery full" LED flashes)
In this mode, the remaining 2 % capacity before the battery is fully charged is charged at a higher voltage (normal charge: 14.4 V/cold charging: 14.8 V) and a lower current to protect the vehicle battery.
Test (display: "Battery full" LED flashes)
If the voltage of the vehicle battery drops to 11.6 V within 10 minutes, the battery is considered defective and must be replaced.
Servicing (display: "Battery full" LED is on solidly)
This mode continuously measures voltage at 12.6 and 25.2 V. If the voltage drops, the charging process is restarted.
Intensive mode (display: "Flat" LED flashes)
This mode is used for fast charging and for severely discharged vehicle batteries. The vehicle battery is charged intensively at maximum current for 30 minutes. It is then tested to check whether normal charging is possible. If the battery voltage is still insufficient, intensive charging is carried out. This process is repeated four times at most. If this is not sufficient to charge the battery, the charger displays an error.
