Outstanding long-term elasticity
The elastic stretching zone has long-term capacity to support joint movements of up to 5 mm. Maximum safeguarding against movement-related leaks is therefore provided. Easy to fit without the need for a movement loop for joint movements up to 5 mm.
Tested sealing properties
- Air-tight and slows down vapour diffusion.
When used correctly and professionally, the required sealing properties of the new energy saving ordinance are met.
Easy to plaster over
Fleece provides for excellent adhesion of commercially available plasters.
Combination of self-adhesive strips and butyl
- High adhesive strength
- The acrylate-based adhesive strip ensures that the product is secured to the frame extremely quickly
- Excellent adhesion is achieved on the reveal thanks to the butyl rubber strip
An excess length of 5 cm must be maintained in the corner area. Flexible tape adhesive, flexible tape adhesive plus or EPDM sealing tape adhesive are not suitable for bonding the butyl strip or the smooth side of the Duo flexible tape.

Sealing of window and façade joints, perimeter joints of glasshouses to the main building and other perimeter joints.
1. Cleaning:
The surfaces must be dry, dust- and grease-free and capable of bearing loads. On mineral and highly absorbent surfaces, we recommend using butyl primer.
2. Installation on window:
Pull the protective film off the self-adhesive strip and stick the flexible tape to the back of the window frame; press on firmly using a press-on roller. Fit the window and fill foam into the joint with PURLOGIC Top or PURLOGIC Flex.
3. Installation on masonry:
Pull the protective paper off the butyl, affix the butyl strip to the wall and press on firmly using a press-on roller.
