Extraordinary, long-lasting elasticity
The elasticated area has a long-lasting capacity to follow the movements of the joints up to 5 mm. It therefore ensures maximum safety against leaks linked to movement. Easy to assemble, without needing a movement loop for joint movements up to 5 mm.
Sealing properties tested

A length exceeding 5 cm must be maintained around the corners. The Flexband Kleber adhesive, Flexband Kleber Plus or EPDM sealing adhesive are not suitable for gluing the butyl strip or the smooth side of the Flexband Duo tape.

1. Cleaning:
The surfaces must be dry, free from dust, grease and solids. A butyl primer should be used on highly absorbent mineral surfaces.
2. Fixture installation:
Remove the protective film from the self-adhesive strip and attach the sealing tape on the back of the fixture frame; firmly press using a press-on roller. Install the fixture and fill the joint with PURLOGIC Top or PURLOGIC Flex foam.
3. Masonry installation:
Remove the protective film from the butyl, attach it to the wall and firmly press using a press-on roller.
